Nova, a member of United Group, which is majority owned by BC Partners, announces that it has signed an agreement to sell its 50% stake in Nova ICT to IREON Technologies, a member of the Motor Oil Group. This transaction is aligned with Nova’s strategy of focusing on the provision of affordable, high-quality services to households and businesses, with the aim of developing stable revenue streams, as well as investing in next-generation networks such as 5G.
Since its establishment in 2023, Nova ICT has, in a short period of time, established itself as one of the leading pillars of digital solutions in the Greek market. Under the leadership of its CEO, Alexandros Bregiannis, the company has achieved impressive growth, delivering complex projects with significant technological added value.
With a strong presence in key sectors such as healthcare, civil protection, defense, infrastructure, utilities, smart cities, and the private sector, Nova ICT has made a decisive contribution to accelerating the country’s digital transformation. At the same time, the company has made a strong entry into the European landscape, undertaking the implementation of complex European projects (EU projects). Through its participation in such initiatives, Nova ICT develops innovative solutions aligned with European standards, strengthening its international presence and demonstrating its ability to manage demanding, large-scale technological ecosystems. This agreement represents a strategic development that marks the beginning of a new phase of growth for Nova ICT, ensuring the continuity of its operations and further strengthening its role within the technology ecosystem.
As part of the transaction, the current net equity value of Nova ICT was assessed at €121 million. This valuation demonstrates the significant value created over the past three years, given that Nova ICT’s initial share capital amounted to €1 million.
Nova reaffirms its commitment to maintaining its commercial partnership with Nova ICT following the completion of the transaction. The two companies will continue to collaborate on joint projects and initiatives, leveraging their respective expertise to deliver large-scale digital transformation projects for the benefit of their customers and partners.
