Nova ICT at the the 27th Greek ICT Forum

As part of the 27th Greek ICT Forum and the session “AI & ICT everywhere: Defense & Digital Transformation,” we participated in a highly insightful discussion on the role of technology in the defense sector.

The panel featured Pantelis Tzortzakis, CEO of the Hellenic Center for Defense Innovation (ELKAK), Theodoros Prokos, Defense Director at Nova ICT, and Antonis Kassanos from Uni Systems.

Pantelis Tzortzakis highlighted the pivotal role of ELKAK as a mechanism that introduces innovation into the defense sector in a more structured way, shaping a framework where technology is meaningfully aligned with real operational needs.

Theodoros Prokos focused on the practical importance of modern technological infrastructures, explaining how complex systems, multiple data sources, and AI technologies are combined to support real-time decision-making. He also emphasized ELKAK’s significant contribution to the development of the country’s defense sector.

The discussion confirmed that technology alone is not enough. Real value comes from how it is designed, implemented, and utilized — a philosophy that lies at the core of Nova ICT.
