Nova ICT Participates in the ESPA 2021–2027 Conference on Civil Protection

Nova ICT had the opportunity to participate in the “ESPA 2021–2027 Sectoral Programs” conference, held at the Zappeion, as part of the thematic session dedicated to the Civil Protection Program, with Avgoustinos Kondylis, Senior ICT Sales Manager at Nova ICT, as a speaker.

During his presentation, he highlighted projects implemented by Nova ICT to strengthen Civil Protection, including the National Crisis Management Database, Fire Detection solutions for the protection of National Forests, and the Digital Training Platform of the National Crisis Management Mechanism.

Particular emphasis was placed on the role of Artificial Intelligence and advanced algorithms in leveraging complex data from IoT sensors, drones, radar systems, thermal cameras and weather stations, with the purpose of enabling early prevention and improving operational decision-making. The challenges associated with the implementation of mission-critical projects were also discussed.
