Nova ICT at the “AI in Defense” Conference

The panel “AI in Defense”, held as part of the AI Conference organized by KPMG Greece, highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence in National Defense and the importance of innovation in strengthening Operational Readiness.

Alexandros Bregiannis, CEO of Nova ICT, participated in the panel and referred to the challenges of Defense Technology, as well as Nova ICT’s targeted initiatives to claim market share in this sector. The company is investing in Command and Control (C2) systems, Tactical Communication Networks, Electronic Warfare, and Defense AI applications, while also establishing a new business unit staffed by experienced market professionals. In addition, Nova ICT is strengthening the start-ups ecosystem through strategic partnerships and even equity participation.

Concluding his remarks, Alexandros Bregiannis referred to the “Thorax” project, the largest ICT project in the Defense sector, which is expected to significantly enhance the operational readiness of the Armed Forces through technological innovation and integrated information systems.
